There is always a need for teams to be supported by managers and leaders in the work that they do. There is no argument against the value of excellent teams who deliver results with the minimum of fuss. This workshop is suitable for organisations of any size, and for SME leaders and owners of small, developing businesses.
In this workshop we focus on what excellent teamwork involves, and how successful teams are created – because they do not happen by accident.
Topic: Supporting teams in times of change and disruption
Date: Thursday 28th October 2021
Time: 1:30pm – 4:30pm
When a team is working effectively you will have ‘Self-Managed Teams’. We explore how you can:
1 Understand what a ‘Self-Managed Team’ is, what it requires and how it is supported in real time.
2 Check and clarify team purpose and operating structure, clarify that teams are aligned to organisational objectives.
3 Make sure that the team knows how to optimise individual roles and responsibilities.
4 Verify communication channels and ensure teams know how they will deal with potential conflict and unexpected challenges.
These workshops are delivered as part of the Business Ready programme to support tech based and knowledge intensive small businesses, with high growth potential based in the Coventry & Warwickshire LEP area.
This project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund, forming part of the CW Business: Start, Grow and Scale Programme.
