Since 2016, our Business Ready team has helped companies across the region raise more than £9 million in funding – either through grants or investment – and have seen the creation of more than 140 jobs.
In the most recent phase, from 2019 to the end of 2021, we have interacted with more than 600 companies and ventures and have delivered long term assistance to more than 100 businesses. As well as helping to nurture 27 high-growth potential companies through their first years of establishing themselves.

Such has been the success of the programme, Business Ready has now been awarded a further £507,000 worth of funding to continue the work until at least June 2023.
